PlayStation Vita Slim
The PlayStation Vita Slim, also known as the PS Vita Slim or PS Vita 2000, is an updated version of the original PlayStation Vita handheld console that was released by Sony Computer Entertainment in 2013.
The PS Vita Slim was designed to be lighter and more compact than the original Vita, while still retaining many of the same features and functionality.
One of the most significant differences between the PS Vita Slim and the original Vita is its design. The PS Vita Slim is approximately 20% thinner and 15% lighter than the original Vita, making it more comfortable to hold and easier to carry around. It also features a redesigned back touchpad, which is more responsive and easier to use than the original.
The PS Vita Slim has a 5-inch OLED touchscreen display, dual analog sticks, and front and rear cameras. It also includes Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity and access to the PlayStation Network for online gaming and media streaming. Additionally, the PS Vita Slim has a micro-USB port for charging and data transfer, which is more convenient than the proprietary charging cable used by the original Vita.
The PS Vita Slim is compatible with all PS Vita games and accessories and has access to the same online services and multimedia features as the original Vita. It also includes a variety of built-in apps and games, such as "Tearaway" and "Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes."
Despite being succeeded by the Nintendo Switch and other handheld consoles, the PS Vita Slim remains a popular console among gamers and collectors who appreciate its compact design, improved touchpad, and extensive library of games.
